sachavonkarl74 Raw / classic black metal hailing from Mexico, again a fortuitous but very welcome discovery, through the feed suggestion of forthcoming BM albums (a new one will be released soon). Luciferian Rites played here the old-school Norwegian formula, the drummer is quite good at introducing variations on the repeated said formula throughout the album. Love the guitar work, and the vocals are a mix of howls or high-pitched shrieks, raven-like croaking. I'd say it all fits very well together!! Favorite track: A Dreadful Chant for Self-Destruction.

This album rocks! Has a great atmosphere. I really enjoy this type of BM that is more meditative, with excellent riffs. Love the sound of the guitar and drums. That snare drum hit is perfect. I am looking forward to future releases. Might be my new fav band! jschmid20
